In commemoration of Christmas 2015 and New Year 2016, Modernland once again held a Christmas event themed Joy in Diversity, attended by all employees as well as the board of directors and commissioners. Employees from all levels, ranging from office boys to the company’s top executives, were present to enliven the event. The event, themed “Joy in Diversity,” was held at one of the company’s business units, namely Hotel Novotel Gajah Mada, on January 8, 2016. By holding this event, it was hoped that all Modernland employees from across the company’s business units could interact with one another, something that often could not be done outside events like this.

In addition to strengthening the spirit of togetherness and brotherhood among employees, this event was also expected to increase employees’ concern for education in Indonesia through the CSR activity incorporated into the event. Through collaboration with Yayasan Bina Mandiri Indonesia, PT Modernland Realty Tbk. made a contribution to the education of underprivileged communities. This was carried out through the provision of financial assistance that would be used to fund the printing of LKS books for Kindergarten A and Kindergarten B for semester 2 of the 2015/2016 academic year. Through this collaboration, it was also hoped that Modernland could help provide kindergarten education opportunities for children from underprivileged communities, so that the kindergarten age, which is considered the golden years, would not be wasted.
